Our first VHF-SRC Marine Radio course was held at The Waveney Inn, Waveney River Centre on Sunday 25th September 2011 following the Quiz Night. The course was very well conducted by John Wheeler of Norfolk Powerboating and an enjoyable time was had by all.

Sylvia Saxby, Alan Abrahams, David Leatherhead, Stephanie Roe, Simon Milnes, Christopher Collins and John Skinner attended the course and all passed.

They should all now be the proud possessors of

'A Maritime Radio Operator Certificate of Competence' 'SHORT RANGE CERTIFICATE' issued by The RYA.

If any other members would like to take this or any other RYA course, please contact Secretary Ken.
